Bloodbound 是一支瑞典力量金屬樂團，於 2004 年在博爾奈斯成立。

歷史

他們在 2005 年發行了第一張錄音室專輯《Nosferatu》，並於 2007 年 5 月發行了第二張專輯《Book of the Dead》。該樂團由前 Street Talk 成員 Fredrik Bergh 和 Tomas Olsson 創立，成員還包括 Michael Bormann (Jaded Heart)、Urban Breed (Tad Morose) 和 Pelle Åkerlind (Morgana Lefay)。他們的首張專輯《Nosferatu》由前 Tad Morose 歌手 Urban Breed 擔任主唱。《Nosferatu》於 2005 年 12 月 16 日發行（日本；歐洲發行日期為 2006 年 2 月 24 日），專輯封面由 Mark Wilkinson（Iron Maiden、Judas Priest、Marillion）設計，並獲得瑞典搖滾雜誌《Power Play》的早期好評。僅憑首張專輯的實力，樂團便為 Evergrey 開場，並在哥德堡金屬音樂節的第一天擔任壓軸演出。

儘管樂團有著明顯的黑金屬形象（樂團成員在專輯和網站的宣傳照中以及一些現場演出中曾化上「屍妝」風格的妝容），但 Bloodbound 的音樂並不屬於黑金屬類別。相反地，其風格更接近 Helloween 和 Iron Maiden 等重金屬樂團，儘管歌詞有時會涉及較黑暗的主題。《Stormborn》（2014 年）標誌著樂團歌詞主題轉向了更具中世紀奇幻色彩的題材，其中大量引用了熱門電視劇《冰與火之歌：權力遊戲》。從《War of Dragons》（2017 年）開始，歌詞主題完全轉向中世紀奇幻題材，特別強調龍，並延續對《冰與火之歌：權力遊戲》的引用，這一點在接下來的專輯《Rise of the Dragon Empire》（2019 年）中得以繼承。
