芭芭拉．狄琳絲姬

芭芭拉·德林斯基（Barbara Delinsky，1945年8月8日出生於美國麻薩諸塞州波士頓，本名芭芭拉·露絲·格林伯格 (Barbara Ruth Greenberg)）是一位美國愛情小說作家，其作品包括19本《紐約時報》暢銷書。她也曾以筆名邦妮·德雷克（Bonnie Drake）和比莉·道格拉斯（Billie Douglass）出版作品。

生平

德林斯基於1945年8月9日出生於麻薩諸塞州波士頓附近。她的母親在她僅八歲時去世。

1963年，她畢業於麻薩諸塞州牛頓市的牛頓高中。其後，她繼續深造，於塔夫茨大學獲得心理學文學士學位，並於波士頓學院獲得社會學文學碩士學位。

德林斯基很年輕時便嫁給了當時還是法律系學生的史蒂夫·德林斯基。婚後頭幾年，她任職於麻薩諸塞州防止虐待兒童協會。第一個孩子出生後，她轉任《貝爾蒙特先驅報》的攝影師和記者。她也利用時間在醫院做志工，並擔任麻省總醫院癌症中心之友的董事會成員，以及他們的女性癌症顧問委員會成員。

1980年，生下一對雙胞胎後，德林斯基讀到一篇關於三位女作家的文章，決定嘗試將自己的想像力付諸紙上。經過三個月的研究、構思和寫作，她賣出了自己的第一本書。她開始以比莉·道格拉斯的筆名為戴爾出版公司（燭光狂喜羅曼史系列）和 Silhouette Books（S. 親密時刻系列與 S. 渴望系列）寫作，並以芭芭拉·德林斯基的筆名為 Harlequin Enterprises 寫作。如今，她只使用她的婚後姓名芭芭拉·德林斯基，而一些以其他筆名出版的小說，也正以這個名字重新出版。自那時起，她的著作已發行超過三千萬冊，並被翻譯成25種語言出版。她的小說之一《A Woman's Place》被翻拍成一部由羅林·布蘭考主演的 Lifetime 電影。

2001年，德林斯基以《Uplift: Secrets from the Sisterhood of Breast Cancer Survivors》一書拓展至非小說領域。她本人也是一名乳癌倖存者，她將該書及第二本非小說類作品的收益捐贈給慈善機構。她利用這些資金在麻省總醫院資助了一個腫瘤學研究員計畫，用以培訓乳房外科醫生。

德林斯基一家居住在麻薩諸塞州的牛頓市。史蒂夫·德林斯基已成為該市一位知名律師，而她則每天在自家車庫樓上的辦公室裡寫作。
