漢麗埃特·威利貝克·勒梅爾

Henriette Willebeek LeMair（1889年4月23日生於鹿特丹－1966年3月15日）是一位荷蘭童書插畫家。

職業生涯

法國插畫家 Louis-Maurice Boutet de Monvel 對 Le Mair 的藝術發展產生了重要影響。她15歲時，父母帶她到巴黎拜訪他以尋求建議，之後她每年都會回去接受進一步的指導。聽從他的建議，她於1909年至1911年間在鹿特丹藝術學院學習，同時也上私人繪畫課。

她於1904年首次出版插畫，一年後與母親合作創作了三本書的系列。作為一名插畫家，她最多產的時期是1911年至1917年之間。她的圖像不僅出現在書中，也見於明信片和兒童瓷器上。

Le Mair 以水彩創作，這種媒材展現了她精緻細膩的畫作，以及柔和的平塗色塊。她經常使用橢圓形或圓角矩形的裝飾性圖框來襯托她的插畫。儘管她繪製的書籍相對較少，但她的作品一直備受推崇。一位同時代的評論家寫道：「自從 Kate Greenaway 的時代以來，我不知道有誰能像 Willebeek Le Mair 小姐一樣，如此精準地捕捉到童年的精神。」

在她二十歲出頭時，她經營了一所幼兒園，有時會讓她的學生擔任模特兒。

1920年，Le Mair 嫁給了 H.P. Baron van Tuyll van Serooskerken，並取名為「Saida」。他們兩人都皈依了由 Murshid Inayat Khan 所教導的蘇菲主義信仰——一個倡導普世博愛與愛的宗教，並畢生致力於幫助窮人及其他慈善事業。他們最終定居於荷蘭海牙。

個人生活

1920年，她嫁給了受 Inayat Khan 啟發的荷蘭蘇菲派領袖 Hubertus Paulus Baron van Tuyll van Serooskerken（1883–1958），並取名為「Saida」。他們定居於荷蘭海牙。
