吉茲·巴特

葛拉漢·安東尼·「吉茲」·巴特（Graham Anthony "Gizz" Butt，1966年8月3日出生）是英國音樂家，Janus Stark樂團的主唱兼主吉他手，以在1990年代末期擔任超凡樂團（The Prodigy）的現場吉他手而聞名。他自己的樂團Janus Stark，也來自同一時期，憑藉專輯《The Great Adventure Cigar》中的歌曲〈Every Little Thing Counts〉獲得了小小的成功。

生平

《Kerrang!》雜誌的作家兼攝影師Morat向超凡樂團提到了巴特的名字，兩週內，他就在 T in the Park 音樂節上表演了。在超凡樂團最成功的時期，他與他們一起巡演了三年。1996年，巴特組建了 Janus Stark，他們以〈Every Little Thing Counts〉一曲在美國排行榜上取得了成功。Janus Stark 發行了《Great Adventure Cigar》，這使得幽浮一族樂團（The Foo Fighters）邀請巴特上台與他們一同表演了一段時間。

2003年，巴特與Blair組建了五人鞭擊金屬樂團 The More I See，發行了三張專輯：《The Wolves Are Hungry》、《The Unholy Feast》和《The Disappearing Humans》。

巴特曾與 Sabbat 一同演出，取代了原貝斯手 Fraser Craske。他在2007年剩餘的音樂節演出以及2008年所有的歐洲和美國演出中繼續與該樂團合作。

2006年，巴特開始與無政府龐克樂團 Crass 的創始人 Steve Ignorant 合作，籌備一場以該樂團專輯《Feeding of the 5000》為基礎的演出，該演出於2007年11月在倫敦的 Shepherd's Bush Empire 舉行。2009年，他們決定擴大演出規模並進行全球巡演，名為「The Last Supper」。他們宣布此次巡演的最終場於2011年在倫敦舉行。2011年5月，巴特在 Love Amongst Ruin 於法國的「Recycling Party Tour」巡演中，為其中兩場演出擔任吉他手代班。

2012年，巴特重組了 English Dogs，以樂團早期的作品在美國進行巡演。

2015年，巴特加入了德國另類金屬樂團 Pyogenesis。他參與了他們最近的專輯《A Century in the Curse of Time》和《A Kingdom To Disappear》。他於2018年6月離開該樂團。

除了表演工作外，巴特也從事教職，他曾任教於史丹佛學校（Stamford School），現於彼得伯勒的漢普頓學院（Hampton College Peterborough）以及奧米斯頓學院（Ormiston Academy）任教。

巴特的吉他技巧備受稱讚。「我從9歲開始收藏披頭四的唱片，所以喬治·哈里森應該是第一個影響我的人，但我的哥哥克里斯也是個樂手，而且是個超級重搖滾迷。家裡總是有把吉他掛著。克里斯向我介紹了 Lynyrd Skynyrd 的專輯《Pronounced Le-nerd Skin-nerd》和他弄到的一張 Jimi Hendrix 在 Woodstock 的現場盜版錄音，我聽得目瞪口呆。我想要彈得像那樣！」。「這是個很難的決定，但藍迪（·羅茲）可能是我一直以來最喜歡的樂手。他絕對是頂尖之一。」
