毛刺葵

Acanthophoenix crinita 是留尼旺特有的一種棕櫚科物種。

這種棕櫚樹最初由法國博物學家 Jean Baptiste Bory de Saint-Vincent 於 1804 年描述為 Areca crinita，並由德國植物學家 Hermann Wendland 於 1867 年將其歸類於其獨立的 Acanthophoenix 屬。

在其 1995 年的種子植物名錄中，Rafaël Govaerts 認為 A. crinita 是 Acanthophoenix rubra 的同物異名，Govaerts 和 John Dransfield 在他們 2005 年的棕櫚科植物名錄中亦持相同看法。

然而，N. Ludwig 在其對該屬的修訂中，認定 A. crinita 為一個獨立的物種。
