達林頓加勒比石龍子

達靈頓加勒比蛇蜥（學名：Caribicus darlingtoni），俗稱達靈頓蛇蜥（Darlington's galliwasp）及伊斯帕尼奧拉條紋蛇蜥（Hispaniolan striped galliwasp），是蛇蜥科（Diploglossidae）的一種蜥蜴。此物種為加勒比地區伊斯帕尼奧拉島上多明尼加共和國的特有種。

達靈頓加勒比蛇蜥原先被歸類於 Celestus 屬，但在 2021 年被移至 Caribicus 屬。

詞源

種名 darlingtoni 是為了紀念美國昆蟲學家小菲利普·傑克森·達靈頓（Philip Jackson Darlington Jr.）。

棲地

達靈頓加勒比蛇蜥偏好的自然棲地是伊斯帕尼奧拉島的松樹林，海拔高度為 。

描述

雄性達靈頓加勒比蛇蜥的吻肛長（SVL）可達 。雌性體型小約五分之一，吻肛長僅達 。

繁殖

達靈頓加勒比蛇蜥是卵生物種。
