遠方細盲蛇

Leptotyphlops distanti，通稱為「迪氏細盲蛇」或「迪氏蠕蛇」，是細盲蛇科下的一種蛇。此物種原生於南部非洲。

詞源

其種小名 distanti 是為了紀念英國昆蟲學家威廉·盧卡斯·迪斯坦特（William Lucas Distant）。

地理分佈

迪氏細盲蛇分佈於史瓦帝尼、莫三比克南部及南非。

棲息地

迪氏細盲蛇偏好的自然棲息地為熱帶草原和草原，海拔高度可達。

形態描述

迪氏細盲蛇的背部呈灰黑色，腹部顏色較淺。成體的吻肛長（SVL）可達。

繁殖

迪氏細盲蛇是卵生動物。
