1932年設立時，310號州道完全位於利金郡境內。當時，其路線僅涵蓋現今從埃特納的40號美國國道至帕塔斯卡拉的16號州道之間的路段。<br />

1937年，310號州道的南端與北端皆進行了延伸。南延方面，310號州道延伸至費爾菲爾德郡，止於當時新延伸的204號州道，即為現今的南端終點。帕塔斯卡拉以北，310號州道則沿一條先前未編號的道路延伸，直至約翰斯頓東南方與37號州道的交會點。<br />
