厚齒牡蠣屬（Pycnodonte）是一個已滅絕的牡蠣屬，為海洋雙殼綱軟體動物化石，隸屬於鷲蛤科，又稱泡沫牡蠣或蜂巢牡蠣。此屬物種的貝殼化石見於世界各地，其化石殼層年代可追溯自凡蘭吟期（1.402億年前）至早更新世（78.1萬年前）。牠們是紐澤西州納弗辛克層的白堊紀殼層中常見的化石。

此屬物種的化石在全球白堊紀至第四紀的沉積物中均有發現（年代範圍：1.402億至7.81萬年前）。

這些化石通常以大面積的岩層或殼層形式存在。在猶他州國會礁國家公園地區，此化石層厚達十英尺，位於曼科斯頁岩層的下圖南克段，介於達科他砂岩之上與藍門頁岩層之下。在猶他州漢克斯維爾地區，紐氏厚齒牡蠣（Pycnodonte newberryi）的牡蠣殼層大面積出露。目前正在進行研究，以確定這些殼層中是否存在一種以上的物種。
